About the project
Incredible Destinations Events (IDE)
Incredible Destinations Events (IDE) is a partnership project of the EXIT Foundation and the National Heritage Park in Ópusztaszer, Hungary, and is realised with the support of the IPA cross-border cooperation programme Hungary-Serbia.
This project aims to develop an innovative platform that promotes tourist destinations and the cultural heritage of the border region of Hungary and Serbia. The project itself has been designed in such a way that the destinations themselves are promoted with the participation of popular international music stars and with the help of the creative industry and innovative digital and video tools.
The target group of the project are the younger and local population, tourists, and representatives of the tourism and creative industries.
Activities within the IDE project aim to set up a new type of tourist promotion of the region, in order to increase the number of visitors, and economic and social sustainability.
The Incredible Destinations Events project is being implemented in the period from 1 February 2021 to 31 May 2022, where two tourist and cultural destinations are being promoted in phases – Bač Fortress in Serbia and Ópusztaszer National Heritage Park in Hungary, during which the two innovative events will take place, aiming to brand and promote these attractive destinations, as well as their cultural heritages, attracting a wider population through digital communication channels.
Attractive video contents are created on the very locations, with the help of which the beauty of these tourist destinations is promoted, along with the respective cultural heritages, supported by the performances of international musicians.
The video content is broadcast through the channels of the EXIT Festival and the ONTE platform, as well as through the channels of partner media and popular YouTubers and influencers.
